Sudakshya Girls' Scholarship

About the scheme

Sudakshya Scholarship is run by Odisha Government under SDTE department. Girl students who win the award will get cash benefits.

One only need to fill the online form. Online forms are available on the Odisha state scholarship portal.

1.Who will get the scholarship ?

It is for the General/ST/SC/SEBC/EBC category girl child of Odisha State.

2.Qualification:

The scholarship is only for the girls who are pursuing ITI and ITC courses in any trades in Odisha.

3.Aim of the scholarship:

a. Encourage girls for technical education.

b. fill the 30% reservation

c. Attract the dropout girls students and young women.

d. Make them financially strong and educate them.

4.Benifits:

a. It will help the girls financially.

b. Reimbursement of admission and hostel fee.

c. Maintenance allowances will be given of Rs1500 per month for hostel girls and Rs 500 for day scholar.

d. Reimbursement of uniform Rs3000

e. Maintenance Allowances Rs1000 per month for Apprenticeship Training after ITI inside the state and Rs1500 per month for outside the state.

f. One month maintenance allowances of Rs 5000 after completion of six months on job outside the state.

g. Financial benefits will directly transfer to bank account.

5.Documents Required:

a. Aadhar Card

b. College ID Card

c. Copy of passbook bank account.

d. Income Certificate of the parents.

e. Marksheet of last exam

f. Passport size photography

g. Self declaration Certificate.
